物化性质 无色单斜晶系片装或柱状结晶，有光泽，相对密度1.306，熔点149.6℃，易溶于水、乙醇、液铵、丙酮、砒呤和液体二氧化硫中，溶于水时呈吸热反应，遇铁盐生成血红色的硫氰化铁，与亚铁盐不反应，在日光作用下溶液呈红色，加热至140℃左右时形成硫脲，170℃时分解为氨，易潮解，应密封贮存。
用途 是制造双氧水的辅助原料，用作染料，有机合成的聚合催化剂，用于农药、抗生素的分离，分析试剂等。
