PAM Le floculant, nom chimique polyacrylamide, est un polymère soluble dans l'eau.
Le floculant PAM est insoluble dans la plupart des solvants organiques, a une bonne floculation et peut réduire la résistance au frottement entre les liquides. Selon ses caractéristiques ioniques, il peut être divisé en quatre types : non ionique, anionique, cationique et amphotère. Le polyacrylamide non ionique convient à la séparation des suspensions mixtes organiques et inorganiques, où la solution est neutre ou acide. Le polyacrylamide cationique convient aux solutions en suspension contenant une substance organique et a une charge négative. Le polyacrylamide anionique convient aux substances en suspension inorganiques de plus haute densité avec une charge positive et est neutre ou basique, avec des particules de suspension épaisses de 1 mm à 10 mm.
Le polyacrylamide se présente sous diverses formes telles que des granulés, des émulsions d'huile liquide, des comprimés et des blocs. Le polyacrylamide sec est plus facile à stocker, à transporter et à doser dans les fossés d'amont et a également une durée de conservation plus longue que les formes liquides. Cependant, les formes liquides nécessitent moins d’agitation pour se dissoudre.
Manufacturing Process：
Les polyacrylamides sont synthétisés par polymérisation de l'acrylamide (C3H5NON). L'acrylamide est généralement dissous dans l'eau et les monomères dissous (molécules à unité unique) sont amenés à polymériser (se lier ensemble pour former de grosses molécules à unités multiples) grâce à l'action d'initiateurs de radicaux libres.
