Katjonisk polyakrylamid är lämplig för suspensionslösningar som innehåller organisk substans och har negativ laddning. Anjonisk polyakrylamid är lämplig för högre densitet, oorganisk suspensionssubstans med positiv laddning och är neutral eller basisk, med tjocka suspensionspartiklar på 1 mm-10 mm.
Polyakrylamid finns i olika former, såsom granulära, flytande oljeemulsion, tabletter och blockformer. Torr polyakrylamid är lättare att lagra, transportera och mäta i huvuddiken och de har också längre hållbarhet än flytande former. Flytande former kräver dock mindre omrörning för att lösas upp.
Manufacturing Process：
Polyakrylamider syntetiseras genom polymerisation av akrylamid (C3H5NEJ). Akrylamid löses vanligtvis i vatten, och de lösta monomererna (enkelenhetsmolekyler) induceras att polymerisera (koppla samman för att bilda stora molekyler med flera enheter) genom inverkan av fria radikalinitiatorer.
