Usage:In mammals, β- Nikotinamide mononucleotides dijana oleh nikotinamida (Nam) di bawah pemangkinan Nampt (protease in vivo), dan kemudian mononukleotida nikotinamida dijana oleh nicotinamide mononucleotides adenosine transferase kepada NAD+. Nicotinamide mononucleotide adalah cara langsung untuk menambah NAD+. Mononukleotida nikotinamida boleh meningkatkan dengan ketara keupayaan pembaikan kerosakan DNA dalam sel.
