Isoflurane is an inhaled anesthetic with the chemical name 2-chloro-2- (difluoromethoxy) -1,1,1-trifluoroethane and the molecular formula C3H2ClF5O. This drug belongs to the isomer of Enflurane, which induces anesthesia and awakens quickly, and has little effect on myocardial contractility and liver and kidney function. Blood pressure and respiratory status should be monitored during use, and contraindications include patients with a history of malignant hyperthermia and pregnant women (excluding cesarean section).
